What's everybody's thoughts on the setting, theme, and gameplay of AC 5?

My money's on Egypt. One of Altair's sons went there, maybe we'll play as him, building a brotherhood in Northern Africa.
Lots of fans want Feudal Japan, Imperial China or Victorian England. That could work as well.

A fan theory video. He points out some rather interesting facts, especially the 2nd one...

Which is really great. I've always wanted to visit Ancient China.

I hope it's something that pretty much no-one ever considered, but works beautifully anyway somehow.

From what Darby said, we can basically expect to not actually get any of the locations that were discussed in the email. but their methods for picking times were probably meant more seriously. Time of conflict, not peace, and probably not during or after the invention of cars.

Even so, I wouldn't expect them to hold themselves to that if they had a great idea that broke all those constraints but still worked with AC.

I know we've seen enough of Italy already, but for some reason I want to see the Second Punic War... okay, not "some reason" ... I want to be part of bringing battle elephants over the Alps with Hannibal. ... not sure how it would fit into AC story, but I want to ride an elephant.

Elephant riding mission

Full Synch: Make the elephant roar (do they roar; or is the actual sound referred to as "PPBPBPPFPFPPTBPBPT"?)

To be fair, some of the horses Altair and Ezio rode were closer to elephant sized than horse...

I dunno man, Horses are pretty big, and Altair/Ezio aren't exactly the tallest dudes around.
