I know it's an old game but does anyone here play it?
Love everything about this game and theres tons of decent mods also, whether it's SinglePlayer or Multiplayer.

Can't Wait for M&B Bannerlord and the potential that can have.

I'd never played the Mount and Blade games much personally, but I used to go over to my friend Jacob's house and I'd watch him play them a bunch while making suggestions. I was good at theory and strategy, he was good at execution. Mount and Blade is an extremely execution-heavy game. You can die in the blink of an eye, a single wrong block or a slash at the wrong direction, at the wrong time can end you. It would have taken me a long time and much effort to become really skilled at it, so I settled for observing him play and discussing the game's mechanics afterward.

I think it's fair to say that Mount and Blade's combat is the major inspiration behind Ubisoft's upcoming For Honor.
If you haven't heard of For Honor yet, I highly recommend you check it out.

Yea For Honor looks alright but i doubt it'll have 100 vs 100 Online Multiplayer. Plus combat in Warband has 4 directional swings and blocks with Mounted combat. Though might give it a shot like Chivalry.

There's this Kickstarter game that looks pretty cool.

(doubt it'll be released)

i remember that game.
i used to play Napoleonic Warfare like crazy before.

found a group to play with, and we used to have these big battles every weekend. something like 200 people per side.
it was really fun until i eventually got bored with it.
got like 140 hours in it. never was any good, though

Things will not calm down, Daniel Jackson. They will in fact calm up
