You did, as this is the first time I am beginning my search. I didn't have much spare time these days, because I'm in the middle of my final exams. But now I DO have time so I'll start searching!

Best of luck down the stretch. For all I know, TMA will come out of nowhere after skipping 2 rounds to steal the victory from us both.
You'll both have a leg up on me if the final round starts Thursday, as I will be in and out of airplanes and airports for most of the day flying somewhere...

I would be more than happy to put together a minigame of puzzles if someone would be interested in trying to solve them about my (not as awesome as Stabguy... but more awesome in one respect) travel plans for the weekend.
EDIT: I hope I'm not stepping on toes, but it's clear people on this site like to solve puzzles. I am doing this. It will be too much fun for me not to do it. I will plan the game tomorrow and post the rules tomorrow evening ET. It will start early morning Thursday. There will be a prize for the winner. It will have a decidedly Assassin's Creed flair to it.

Cheese stormed ahead this round, correctly answering with Lucerne, Switzerland after the first clue. Methodical answered correctly after the second clue.

Step 1 - notice a lot a train tracks ... assume this means Stabguy is in a city with large rail station (like everywhere else not in the US)
Step 2 - go to Interlaken's rail station wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interlaken_Ost_railway_station), assuming he'd take a train from city to city (maybe not, but I had to do something)
Step 3 - systematically google maps search for "[city] railway station" with satellite images with every city on that page

So what did 'look behind you' mean?
Stabguy passed Lucerne on the way from Vaduz to Interlaken... he had to look behind him... ie, go backwards... to get to Lucerne.
