Interesting insight into the work behind AC3's new animation system, and how Assassins are created.

AC3's animation system really was fantastic, and this shows how much work really went into it.

Wow. Now that's the kind of attention to detail you would find in a AAA developing gaming studio.

Just the immense detail that was in Connor's running/walking/jumping animation is astounding.

One of the things that struck me throughout is the reference to how constrained they are by last gen consoles. It's going to be interesting to see how AC's animation evolves as the series transfers to primarily next-gen.

I have a feeling it's going to become really clear how much more they could have done with more powerful machines.

And I also really loved how concerned Ubisoft's higher-ups were about Connor's movement staying true to parkour and the original vision of what an Assassin should be.
