It's coming for PS4 XBOne... If you haven't played it yet, I see no reason not to (unless the price is really high).

One of my favorite games in the series. (Even if the plot and characters could be better).

Rogue is a phenomenal game. It combined all the best aspects of AC3 and Black Flag for me.

It's not that old though, does it really need a remaster so soon?

Agreed.

My guess is that they didn't sell enough for the 360/PS3 (because Unity came out at the same time) so they are putting it into the hands of many more people by doing this.

Cool. I never bought Rogue precisely because it came out for the last gen systems as I was upgrading to the current gen. Now's my chance!

Well, I'm still set up to record Xbox 360. My problem these days is finding time to make videos... or even play games. Sad

I know, right?! Although I suppose AC Origins is somewhat revisiting AC1. I bet an AC1 remaster will happen eventually, they might not have wanted to do it now because the setting is so similar to ACO (and Rogue is quite the opposite: warm sands vs cold waters), and because putting Rogue on new systems would be a lot easier than putting AC1 on new systems, because if you're choosing to tackle that game you have no choice but to rework a lot more in that game to put out a proper remaster instead of a port (and I suspect this ACRo will just be a port without any gameplay changes).

Rogue has actually changed the way way I originally thought about AC3. What I want to do when I start playing Origins is talk about my experience with the AC series. I'll go into more detail then.

Today I gathered up my endless supply of gift cards and headed to the GameStop at the mall. They closed the GameStop near my home two years ago. Going to the mall is inconvenient but I wanted to pick up Rogue Remastered while it's still in stores.

Well, it wasn't in the store. The guy said that it wasn't out on physical media yet, only digital download. He referred me to Microsoft's online Xbox Store. When I told him that I wanted to pay for it with GameStop gift cards he said I could use them to buy Microsoft credits.

Looking on the web now, I see that gamestop.com will sell me a digital download of Rogue Remastered for $29.99. That sounds like a good deal. Amazon has physical media for Xbox One and PS4 for $37.99 but they say "UK Import".
