Hey guys, back again after some time with something to contribute! I feel like I always have to come to this community first for sharing any AC related work. I did it with Beautiful Lies and W.A.R and the response was great. I hope you like this one as well.

Best thing to come out of Revelations yet! You made it look good!

Love it when Desmond goes through the animus "door" and results in Ezio running on Istanbul's rooftops. The rest looks like your other videos though.

Yeah. That was really cool. It must take a lot of work to edit everything together for doing all the same moves with the different character models.

Yeah, that's sort of my signature shtick with these videos... but it's also my most dreaded part, I hate doing it so much lol. Especially when it's a kill I need. The running and jumping animations aren't as tough to sync... well I take that back, the leaping ones are annoying, but it's still not on the level of trying to get a specific kill animation/camera angle

I try not to complain about it too much, but sometimes I'll spend an entire day, a literal real life day, trying to get just one animation I need... killing countless guards and setting up the weird little sequence I do to get my camera angles, without it ever giving me the animation I need. My hard drives almost full of useless clips and I'm maniacally roaring at my monitor "GIVE IT TO MEEEEEEEEEE!! DO THE ANIMAAAATIOOONNN!!! PLEEEASSEEE!!" Crazy

And then it finally does but it's just the wrong angle Tired

You'd love Dark Souls, Hamps.

Amazing. Truly you are a technical wizard when it comes to this sort of stuff. A few questions:

- When's ACIII gonna come out, and can you make that synch with footage from the previous games featuring Altair, Ezio, and Desmond? They feature different game engines, and as a result, different camera angles and positioning.
- How did you get that female robotic voice at the end?
- How did you get that Black Animus screen at the end of the video, where you can select 3 of your other videos?

This begs the question: WHY doesn't Ubisoft add a CINEMA mode? You know, creating movies to upload to the web. They should've done this on ACIII, considering the fact that they had almost 3 years to develop the game.

Thank you!

I don't know when I'll do an AC3 video or if I even can. Like you said, the different game engines make it really tough. If I do make one, it'll have to be different. Which might not be so bad, since I've done this style of video too many times now. Just synching AC1 with any of the games is difficult since it uses a different field of view and the camera is moved down a bit (which I actually prefer over the newer games).

The female voice at the end is from AC:R's multiplayer. http://allsoundsasscreed.tumblr.com has a huge collection of sounds and music from the games. I used the "Select your persona" and "Variety" soundfiles and cut em together.

The black animus screen at the end of the video is made by http://www.youtube.com/user/jpgeolina I credited him/her in my description. That person makes really nice looped animus dreamscene wallpapers and rainmeter skins.

WHY doesn't Ubisoft add a CINEMA mode? I don't know. I really don't know. I hope more companies learn from Valve and see that great content can be made by the community if you supply them with tools. It's free advertising practically. I know my videos are. It's just, I imagine very few are willing to make videos using the pain in the ass methods I do.

Yeah. I do wonder why you choose techno/dubstep music with classical elements like violin and cello? Ever considered using "Ezio's Family" or something like that?

Or perhaps you can check out this guys music. He has done music for various fan-made AC parkour videos:

Everyone knows that the proper music for Assassin's Creed videos are punk covers of pop songs. Big smile

No major reason, just my style of music really. It's what I listen to normally. I like the mix of the new and the old. It fits the theme of AC really well too, modern day mixed with ancestors and all that Wink

I have to say that this is your best video yet. Absolutely phenomenal; I would not have the patience for it.

I truly hope that sometime soon, you will get paid for gameplay trailers; unless, has that changed since W.A.R?

Love how they don't mention your one video where it takes you behind the scenes. Maybe it's because that you practically embarrassed them by screwing around with their engine so much.

Oh nice, good ol' Ubisoft always supporting the fans! That's really awesome of them.

Nah, I still do this as simply a hobby/creative outlet. Thank you though, that's flattering. I have talked to some community people at Ubi in the past but nothing has come of it. It's nice they at least keep an ear out for this sort of thing though... and it doesn't hurt to keep making vids. I think the issue is I'm self-taught with Vegas which is like the least respected NLE. I only know a little bit with the industry standard editors like AE or FCP. I paint with the wrong brush it would seem.

Maybe it's because that you practically embarrassed them by screwing around with their engine so much.

Yeah, those glitches don't exactly put the game in the best of lights lol, but they actually did feature it a long time ago which surprised me for the same reasons. Didn't think they'd want to highlight a video showing Altair turning into a garbled mess flying all around Acre.

I meant to ask, what would you desire in a cinema mode? And what priority on each feature?
