Been playing it for a few days now. Right up my alley. I feel like I'm missing 90% of it's potential though...which gives me great replay value. What do you guys think? It's a cross between World of Warcraft and Star Wars games in my mind. I'm just not sure why I care if my party members like me or not. lol

If you do play, who are your favorite party members?

Here's to you as good as you are. Here's to me as bad as I am. As bad as I am, and as good as you are, I'm as good as you are, as bad as I am.

I put in about 15-20 hours, I think, before I just gave up on it. Personally, I didn't like it. But then again, I haven't really liked BioWare's stuff this gen at all. They just don't seem to have the appeal to me that stuff like KoTOR and Jade Empire do.

Not to mention, if you boil BioWare's games down to their basic plot points, all of them are quite derivative. Not that it's a bad thing, since it usually works well.

I played a bunch of DA:O at the request of a friend, but even after a dozen hours or so I just couldn't get into it. I much prefer Japanese-style RPG's, both in terms of gamplay and story.

I didn't mind the story in DA:O so much, though it seemed
somewhat bland. At least up to the point in which I played. But I just couldn't stand the gameplay. It's like a really dumbed down version of an MMO, and I hate the gameplay in MMO's. It's something I always suffered trough to be able to enjoy co-operative play with my friends, but DA:O doesn't even have that going for it.

It's just not my type of game.

My favourite party members to date at this time would be probably be

Spoiler: Highlight to view
shale, leliana, and wynne.

Why have one blade in the crowd when you can have two?

Shale is so incredibly overpowered, it's quite insane. I failed miserably on my first playthrough. I went with:

Alistair, Wynne and Zevran
. My main character was a tanker, so as you can see my damage output was really low.

Was kinda pissed when i finished the story, but couldn't finish all my sidequests. I had no idea you could only do DLC content after finishing the main story. Had a ton of quests just waitin to be completed Sad + I wanted to try getting some more DPS into my party.
But now, there's nothing I can do with my character Sad. So to all of you who havn't finished the story yet: do the DLCs and sidequests before you finish the main story!

Justice without equality is merely justice for those in power.

For any chance, did everybody use the code to get the armour on ME2? If not, could you be kind enough to gift it to me Innocent

We got this (the ultimate edition + Awakenings) for ourselves for Christmas.

Yawn.
