The Hidden Blade's featured member for June is Vhan Master. We first met on YouTube when Vhan would tell me what the AC characters were saying in Arabic. He didn't answer my interview question about greatest accomplishment but, to me, the translations he provided for my Linguist video are something to be proud of. Vhan was the inspiration for that video. He doesn't post here that often (except when he has some juicy info on AC3!) so it was nice to learn more about him.

Tell me about the first time you played AC.

My first time was with the Original AC. I had just bought a PS3 and among my first games I bought with it was this game called Assassin's Creed. At that time I had no idea what this game was about, only that it involved the Middle Ages and Assassins so when I first started the game you can imagine my surprise finding it is based in the present and past as well.

I remember playing through the night until I discovered it was morning already, and I had to leave for school in 15 minutes... xD
So you can see AC quickly sucked me in from the very start.

What do you like most about the games?

While the assassinations and Free running were fun and all I was fascinated most by the historic themes of the games, which is why I loved reading Shaun's Database entries when they were first introduced in ACII. That and Shaun's witty humor in 'em~

What is your favorite quote from the games?

Anything Shaun says~ xD

What would you like to change about AC?

Nothing really, though I wish for more options during Assassination attempts, each with their own pros and cons. You may go for a frontal Assault but with the danger of it causing a difficult Escape route with guards closing paths and forcing you to deal with your actions. Same for stealth, while slow and difficult to accomplish it will allow you a safe retreat or the very least a few minutes of confusion to slip out and meld into the crowds.

There shouldn't be a perfect way. All methods should bare a balance to not overthrow other methods and rather allow you to embrace your own preference and not force you into one solution. Plus the more creative they are the more fun it is.

Which Assassin's Creed game is your favorite? Why?

Probably ACII. For me it fixed the few things I disliked about the first plus adding the bigger thing for me which is the Database~
Plus the Assassin Team were fun to listen to them banter~

Though the moments outside the Animus in ACII were fun, Brotherhood was a bit better when it dealt with things outside as there was a lot of stuff to interact within it plus lots of hilarious moments~ xD

Who is your favorite Assassin's Creed character (main or secondary)?

I think this should be obvious by now. Of course it's Shaun Hastings~ ;P

When you're not playing Assassin's Creed, what other games or activities do you enjoy?

Funny enough I'm quite the RPG lover, though I don't discriminate other game genres except sport games. I really REALLY don't like 'em...

Is there anything else you'd like to add or promote?

I know I'm not that vocal but I still enjoy it here on the forums with everyone~

Thanks for bringing me here Stab...!

What question would you like me to ask the next featured member?

What time period would like an Assassin Creed game to be in?

And here is a question from the last featured member, Fed981:
What scenario/part(s) of the game(s) would you imagine for a movie about AC?

Hmm, Probably Ezio growing into a Master Assassin, ending it as he takes the mantle of The Mentor I guess...?
To be honest though, an Original story but with the same themes of AC would be best for a movie, cause it would be difficult to make one based exactly on the games... =P

Perhaps a different time period with a new Assassin, like they did with the comics...?

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I always thought to myself "what's wrong with you, with everything this game has to offer, you like the historical setting the most ?". So it's not abnormal after all.

Haha, the reason I didn't answer that was that I felt it more or less your Accomplishment Stab, I just helped a bit with it~ xD;
