Am I the only one who feels that these character designs are pretty awful? 
No, I agree completely. The first 8 they revealed were nice, but these recent ones are ridiculous, they're all the same, and all kind of ugly.

Can we get a ninja, or at least something respectable? Seriously, these new characters are such disappointments. If you're going to make a female counterpart for the thief, at least make her look sleek like Rosa or something, and don't give her a toadstool haircut or a hat that looks like a semi ran over it.

That is possibly the worst character I have ever seen. Ever. She doesn't even look anything like a thief!
Got to agree with you all, she looks awful. Why would a thief have a half of a pair of scissors as a weapon anyway, surely it should've been the barber or something?

It seems like the most random and bizarre background story ever as well. They could have come up with a cool quote that sounded pretty epic but instead she just says something random about scissors...? It just seems like a rushed, half-done character

It's almost like they were accepting character design submissions as a contest and randomly choosing the winners instead of taking the best ones.

I agree in that she looks more like a noble than a thief. I feel like Ubisoft is scraping the bottom of the barrel with these multiplayer characters.
These are all still Templars in the single player game right?

I was really hoping for some more female characters that were actually good. A thief is cool, provided she looks even remotely like one. Wonder what other female characters they might do...?
The female jester? I've seen that one in a few screenshots, but they've yet to be officially revealed.

i wanna bring up something else that caught my eye.
in the theif trailer we see her walk up to a courtesan and slahs her throath.
the courtesan then puts her hand on her throat by reflex.
now the problem i have with this is that when she removes the hand, there isn't a single drop of blood anywhere on her whereas i was expecting there too be a flood.
is there blood in the beta or have they gone soft on us?
