While the multiplayer is a nice addition, the single player campaign in Rome was what I was really looking forward to in Brotherhood. I am hoping there is more single player DLC released.

Has anyone heard any news about single player DLC?

I do have some ideas they could use that I think could work.

1. Retrieve Altair's armor (and possibly a few more things, like the Codex) from Monteriggioni. They could put this towards the end of Sequence 5 or 6, perhaps? Make the armor truly functional again and not just a downloadable skin. They could make this a mission really based on stealth (sneaking around a Borgia-occupied Monteriggioni) without being detected. It would work with the story line as well...at the beginning, when Desmond sees Ezio's "ghost" in the Assassin's Tomb, he's much older and wearing the armor. Which clearly indicates he went back to retrieve the armor at some point. I'm biased. I still like it better than the Brutus Armor anyway. Smile

2. I felt the segue between sequences 8 and 9 was quite abrupt. It cuts out from Rome and all of a sudden it's 3+ years later and you're in Spain, having caught up with Cesare. They could flesh that gap out some. Maybe they have a couple missions spread over those few years where you discover Cesare's whereabouts and what he has planned? Maybe track down and capture/assassinate Micheletto, as well. They could geographically disperse these missions across new locations in Europe, as well.

3. Maybe just a collection of missions where you have to assassinate more of Cesare's lieutenants/Templars/supporters around Rome. Somewhat like the targets you had to assassinate before you got to Savanarola in AC2's Bonfire of the Vanities, only a little more in depth.

I would also like to see the Copernicus Conspiracy pack come to the XBox, but I don't think that's going to happen.

Thoughts? I'd love to hear other ideas.

I saw an interview wherein one of the devs stated that they had two major DLC's upcoming. One smaller, for in March or something and one big, in November. I imagine this will be the fleshed out sequences. Wink

I would really be intrested in something like Hidden Darts. Not poison darts, just regular ones.

Has anyone seen the Hassassins in Prince of Persia Sands of Time? Basically, they have darts hidden in their vambraces that they can basically fire in a way similar to the poison darts.

So what i'm saying is add on to the hidden blade and give it a partner weapon (like sword+pistol). Wouldn't be too hard to use them.. if Ezio can use the throwing knives along with the dagger, he should be able to use these.

I've read the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood book. The novel. And you're right. During the 3-year gap from Rome to Spain Ezio, along with Machiavelli and Leonardo. Yes, good ol' Leo, tracks down and captures Micheletto, and its quite an adventure. But you don't kill micheletto. How he dies is quite interesting

Love this book. I wasn't expecting either of the books to be that good and only really got them as a fan of the series but they're genuinely pretty decent reads Smile

I'd like to see something completely different - how about a DLCequence where Shaun gets to go in the Animus? Little Scandinavian town to run around in.

Are the AC novels considered canon? I haven't read them myself, and I know they have to fill in some details. I do know, however, that Rodrigo Borgia commits suicide with poison after the whole thing with the Vault in the Vatican, in the novel. I've also heard that the Cristina memories in Brotherhood were borrowed from the novel.

A couple other thoughts:

Maybe you wouldn't have to go back to Monteriggioni to get the Armor/Codex and stuff back. The Borgia could have claimed them as spoils of war and taken back to Rome, stored in a very heavily guarded location. Again, an emphasis on stealth vs. brute force series of missions (de-sync if you're detected).

This place could also function as a sort of "Templar museum" where they could really add some depth to the history/plans of the Templars, that Ezio can discover. They could also tie some of this information into AC3 and drop a few teasers about the direction of the game and story, if Ubisoft can commit to a storyline and direction.

I really like this retrieval mission idea, it probably shows. Big smile

That does sound fitting of the Templars to turn a thousands of years-old hidden cavern full of ineffable technology into a dolled-up storeroom.

I'd really like to see what became of the Codex after the attack. If you talk to Shaun at one point he says he's searching for the current location of the Codex pages, apparently one is a museum and others likely owned by Templars. I can't imagine that Ezio wouldn't just let slip from his hands and forget about it, especially considering how much trouble he went collecting those pages. He's even got his own band of Assassins now so why not send them to search for the Codex?

Got through the Da Vinci disappearance. It was a worthy piece of DLC. The angle with the Hermeticists was a good addition to the story.

I still want to see the Codex and Armor of Altair get recovered and some more content between the Borgias losing it all in Rome and Cesare's death in Spain.

Remember how in Ac2 Sequence 12+13 were skipped, and later added as DLC content?

There is a similar place to do that in Brotherhood. When Cesare is arrested, the game skips a period of about 5 years (?, it's been a long while since I even looked at Brotherhood) For those of you who have read the book (me) you know that during that time period, Ezio is hunting down Micheletto with Volpe and Machiavelli. Perhaps Ubisoft should release that as DLC content, it sure would be interesting.

HI all, i'm been busy for to long, finally i'm back. (Guess nobody here rememebr me Lol..ANYWAY)
I have alot of ideas.
The Devs should make IMO a "patch" that includes those features:

1- Faction tasks and Assassination contracts - The devs should add more of those.... I really like to spend my time trying to kill or tail the target in the most stealthy way possible, and etc.

2- "District Respect" - I really want that they add this. I just created that name and i think this idea is pretty nice. I'll explain, District Respect means that you can earn the respect of the people of each district in Rome (Just like HONOR and FAME in Red Dead Redemption). So you may be asking: WTF? Well...as you complete Factio tasks and Assassination contracts you should be earning Respect of the people of each District. As you reach 100% respect, most of the people when see you will Applaud to you, cheer to you, say like: Go Ezio! or soemthing like that, earning respect make you more "badass" in my opinion, because people likes you because you are helping them killing those who are just making bad stuff, if you know what i mean. I think this could be an nice new feature. *For more information on how it works PM me)

3- "Random Tasks" - As in red Dead Redemption, people that played it can see that when your riding ur horse or simply walking into the city, a random people ask for your help, or ask you to duel with you, or ask to you to give a ride to her(him) to an especific city, i really think that in ACB would be awesome. Imagine: You're walking on the city and then you got stopped by a random guy that think he can Pwnz you, and he say something like: If you really a good fighter, duel with me. And then you got to to fight with him, and doing that you earn the "district respect" too.
Imagine 2: You are riding a horse and then a poor child says that she is alway from her mom, and then you give her a ride to her mom, and with that you earn the "district respect" too.
And on and on....

So guys.. what you think?
