so, there was an update to watch_dogs in late August that did two major things to the single player game (and fixed an issue of rage-quitting in the multiplayer component)

first, drinking games are MUCH easier... now you can 100% if that's what you were waiting for.

secondly, and more importantly, you can reset side content (gang hideouts and convoy missions)

therefore, i expect to see some clever videos of silently exterminating gang hideouts, etc coming... Wink

I lost interest in Watch_Dogs. It wasn't much fun and I didn't play very well. Maybe I will pick it up again and advance the plot to see if it gets better.

You won't even feel the blade.

Don't bother. I felt like I had to push myself to get to the end. It wasn't a very satisfying ending, either.

just went back and finished it recently. the story was awful and the last mission was poorly-executed, but I found myself liking a lot of the level design. when you're not forced into combat and it's just about stealthing through areas, whether physically, through hacks, or a mix of both, it's a pretty nice stealth game with a lot of interesting mechanics.

the open world, the forced-combat missions (of which there are a lot) and the side content, all of that is pretty mediocre. But there's a core of a good game there. I don't at the moment want to come back to a sequel unless they do a radical change in direction on many fronts, but they have something to build off of if they do.

the posts a bit guy
