I think this would be amazing if the right developer got the license; took the time to do it right. I honestly think i would piss myself if i seen a good looking trailer with nice game play. Here are some of my ideas.

Obviously, it would be a survival-Strategy, action game. I think there should some R.P.G. elements added.

What do you think. Any ideas. Do you think this could happen?.

EDIT : This guy said everything i could think of.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which

Now, to be fair, I haven't read the series, nor seen the movie (yet... this Sunday), so I could be missing something. But, to be honest, I don't know how the public would feel about this. The gaming community would probably eat it up (for all the reasons in that video), but could you imagine the moral outrage to a game where the point is to kill children? I think it would have to have unrealistic "wii" graphics. Anything too real wouldn't be an option, in my opinion.

That's a good point. Even Ubisoft have drawn the line at the ability to kill children in Assassin's Creed III by making it impossible.

Like you, Cheese, I haven't read the series or seen the film (although I hope to do both) but I'm not sure a game would really work. Some concepts seem like perfect platforms for a game but, as we know, film-based video games are usually pretty awful. Tongue

We don't know that yet...
Say goodbye to young George Washington (obviously it has to show young George cutting down the cherry tree).

Maybe an "all grown up" version of the game "loosely based" on the series would work. Sort of a "survival olympics."

Or maybe "Mario and Sonic at the Hunger Games" (for all you wii owners out there).

From what I've seen in some of the videos on this site, I'm sure Ian or stabguy can find a way to do anything they want.

Of course, by "impossible" I mean impossible for the average gamer. Nothing is impossible to members of THB.

Dude. If the world had a problem. They would have band the book. Cause teens die.

I think many people would see a difference between young characters dying in a book/film and children/teenagers actively killing them while playing a video game. I'm not saying there necessarily is a difference, but some people may see it that way.

People's perceptions on these things go like this: As long as something like this isn't representing something that could offend people (like religious beliefs) and isn't shown in graphic detail, it's fine. If millions of gamers are given the ability to reenact the murders of teens for the sake of murder, that's a big deal.

If we have the ability to do it ourselves as many times as we please, yes.

It's the fact that we can simulate death at our own hands willingly onto a child. That's just society. I mean, it's a bit disturbing if you actually think it should be a welcomed gameplay element to kill little kids. That's society's limit.

Well how about making them 16-25,that's the age limit for the games anyway.

As I said, this is what most people would feel, yes.
