Sooo.... Why haven't we made any AC3 videos yet? I would have expected to see something by now.

I've just started playing... Just finished Seq 1.

I have one idea in the works for part of sequence 3... but haven't gone back to do it yet...

Plus, I put one up for the AC Bugs thread. Tongue

Bear in mind that some people take a ridiculously long time to play - to preferably soak in the atmosphere, culture, and fun outta it before exploiting it to the maximum.

Ian, there is a whole PLETHORA of things you can do on the Assassination on

Spoiler: Highlight to view
William Johnson

This includes things like hanging him with Rope Darts, Air Assassinates, Powder Kegging etc.
I'm pretty sure you can lure over a Bear with Bait and make it kill him that way too.
These are all possible because he stops running and cowers if you get Exposed and chase him to the water.
I'm looking forward to the Variety Packs Smile

GamesRadar is having a competition of how quickly you can get yourself killed. I'm sure a Hidden Blade member can figure out a faster way than 20 minutes.

I've recorded some miscellaneous combat on the 360 version, but I'm mostly waiting for the PC version to make videos.

I'd love to do a 'full sync' series, but that's way too much work for one person. Especially when some of those full sync requirements are so frustratingly that I'll probably never complete them.

If enough people on this site wanted to get together and pitch in, I'm sure we could manage to cover every mission in the game. We could have a master list of them here on the site. It would be like the ultimate video guide.

Haha, that's great. I never would have thought of that. Laughing out loud

I'll be getting that Elgato recorder Ian mentioned next week. I might put up something from singleplayer if I can think of anything.

I've FullSynched the whole Main Story and everything else except for the Naval Missions so I may be able to help out with that. I can write written guides for it, that members that DO have recording hardware can follow Smile If you have trouble on any Full Synch, let me know and I'll develop/remember a strategy I used to beat it.

Yes please. I know I won't be able to synch the "chase" mission towards the end of the story. >_>

That actually took me around 30 Checkpoint Restarts to do correctly and completely. It's not hard once you get the first two done, after that you just have to have a perfect chase (which also isn't hard if you know where to go.)
So basically what I did is failed on purpose the first few times so I knew exactly where to go during the second part of the chase (interior of the empty ship) and not lose him.

The first part is ridiculous because it feels like it's almost rigged to make you fail. I had to abuse the majority of little tricks I knew as an AC player just to not fail in the first few seconds. I'll probably record/write a guide on this soonish.

During the first few sequences of the game there's not much to record besides full synching missions. I'll probably try some of that. And since full synch videos will probably be in demand from AC3 players, it will be wise to include full synch in variety pack videos. I might even give my vids the title [insert mission name here] Full Synch and Variety Pack.

Including full sync in a variety pack is a fantastic idea. Maybe the first one each time.

I have one mission in particular where I already found some fun things to do. It's one that some people definitely have trouble full syncing.

My recording software is rela messed up these days, I cant get it to work and it still cant record sound so im not too sure about dubbing music over SP videos, MP videos doesnt seem to be so bad though so I think il just leave the single player stuff to you guys. Also just finished my exams and now im up to sequence 5, not a hell of a lot worth recording at the start but there was one stage that I thought was worth ghost running.

One of the Full Synchs near the end of the game pretty much almost requires a Ghost Run.
