In this video I perform an eagle strike on Sivert.

I got Sivert at the intended spot using the luring technique that Aurel had used in his eagle descent video (Thanks for that btw made it a lot easier). After getting him out of the Notre Dame it was mostly an issue of avoiding the NPC's that are green when eagle vision is active since they will attack and kill Sivert. Blue guards should also be avoided since they will also attack Sivert and similar to my other video there is a chance that Sivert will disengage from combat completely and cannot be aggro'ed anymore.

About the jump, you will probably notice two things:
- I'm positioning Arno to lean slightly to the left when hanging from the ledge, this is because a straight jump forward will most likely take him to far and I would die on the roof.
- At around 1.17 there is a slight skip/slow/glitch in the jump, I don't know how to cause this but it occurs most of the time when leaning to the left and having the camera at a certain angle. I've performed the jump without the skip but the chances of success are a lot higher when it happens.

I'm a bit embarrassed to say that this eagle strike has a huge luck factor in it since I'm not capable of performing the jump with a 100 percent success rate due to the irregular jumps that arno makes some times and the earlier mentioned skip in the jump. I was extremely lucky to have this all work out on my first recorded attempt.

Hope you guys enjoy the video.

Yeah like Aurll says the actual grabbing of a ledge happens automatically.

So trying to perform a breakfall is mostly just an issue of finding a ledge that Arno can catch onto while dropping with high speed, it can take some time but after doing it a couple of times it becomes a bit easier to anticipate whether a breakfall is doable at certain jumps.

Breakfall is actually performing a land roll from a great height, but a ledge catch also gets you the creed points. As for the grasping, Arno only does it automatically. In other words, a ledge has to be targeted by the game when you perform the jump. Somehow it gets extended at certain places, which is why it's not reliable everywhere. Even more annoying is when Arno seems to catch a ledge for a split second then let go, which does nothing to break your fall.

I have another question, something I still don't know how to do - how DO you actually Catch Ledge/Breakfall in Unity?

Amazing! I loved how you timed it with the music.

And is it just me, or does the gravity seemed to be increased?

Thanks! Now that you've mentioned it the background music does somehow add to the buildup, though it wasn't intentional Tongue

There seems to be some form of gravity increase/change in the jumps, jumping from a higher point doesn't automatically mean a further distance anymore(Though I'm not entirely sure this wasn't always the case). You can see it in the video when Arno just starts to drop mostly.
