New Courtesan Glitch
Sorry no video, i would rather not record without sound.
Basically the glitch involves getting a group of courtesans and having them distract some guards. There are two ways of distracting guards, use all 4 by targeting a guard and pressing triangle, or simply walk up to the guard while the courtesans are with you and two of them will distract them. I used the second method, im not sure if the first one works.
Anyway once this group is distracting some guards, go and hire another group of courtesans. It helps if you renovate a building to the courtesan faction. Once you hire a second group of courtesans, the guards you previously distracted will be poisoned.

That explains it. I noticed the poisoning when I was playing the In and Out memory, but never noticed it anywhere else. One funny thing that happened was I hired a group right before the scene with the Banker and a papal guard and when the papal guard handed the box to the Banker he just stood there like he was still handing it to him. After the scene the papal guard was affected by poison.

First time I've heard of it. I never use factions...at all. So I would've never figured this out. I also never really use Assassin Recruits unless I'm free roaming.

I rarely use factions as well, but when replaying missions when looking for something interesting to record I like to mess around with them. Looks like it kinda paid off. In AC2 I found a deadly exploit where you use two courtesan groups, one of them distracts the guards, the other lets you walk around pretty much invisible, allowing you to slaughter all the guards who were distracted by the first group without getting seen.
Speaking of glitches...
I bought all the stuff from Leonardo, but I seem to have lost some of it somehow. I only have one hidden blade, and can't use poison darts. 
When I replay the memory of first buying something from him it says I already own the item and can reequip them, but it doesn't work. And if I go on the bench to buy from him he says that I already have everything he can give me. 
Another glitch is when I replay early memories I'm wearing the armor of Brutus and can use parachutes (long before I should have access to them). Umm, help please?
