(promoted to the front page by Lisa)

It's been a little while, hasn't it?

After completing perfect stealth pacifist runs of every Fort using only fists I decided to try the opposite of pacifism. For this final challenge I'll kill every single enemy within the walls of the Forts (literally within the walls, since there are often many enemies outside but still in the restricted zone that would be extremely tedious or impossible to kill under my restrictions) using only the Hidden Blades except where absolutely necessary, and to make things even sweeter I'll save the Captains for last. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do every Fort, but I'll certainly try.

The first episode, Fort Washington, is here, and just like my previous videos on it it's a two-for-one deal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZ6EQqlfUBU

I don't think it's possible to do a Barehanded version of this challenge without relying heavily on Smoke Bombs, so I won't be trying that. Feel free to try to prove me wrong.

I'll keep this thread updated whenever I post a new video in this series. Enjoy!

Nice to see someone taking over these type of side missions. I haven't been able to record in a ages so I haven't been motivated to tackle the forts this way yet. I have actually yet to watch any of these vids as I wanna try do all this myself without any prior knowledge, once thats done il check them all out. I know from experience that I would actually rather have my viewers try this stuff for themselves so they can fully appreciate the video, about 80% of the experience cannot be captured on video...

Amazing work. Rob's applause

No, do it like you did your previous post; embedding one video and linking to your playlist.

I thought stabguy formatted that for the front page when he promoted it. I could be wrong.

Hmm, does that mean I'll be making a new post for every video? I don't want to clutter the site unnecessarily.

Well I've cluttered up the site for the past few years, so now it's your turn. Laughing out loud That's what the frontpage is for, quality videos. It's a whole lot better than having nothing on the frontpage.

Well, this is more of a discussion topic, so I can see why it wasn't FP'd. If you adapt this topic to make it frontpage-able: "Fort Washington Silent Extermination" with the video embedded, it'll probably end up on the frontpage. Smile

All that seems doable. I'm just a bit confused about the tongue part.

Spoiler: Highlight to view

No really, what's with the tongue?

Anyway, I'm a bit surprised this wasn't frontpaged, since my other thread was. That thread did taper off, but I think this one is just as relevant. I think a lot of people would enjoy it.

New challenge - invert the controller feed so when you push left it goes right and right goes left, up is down, down is up.

And turn off your TV so you only have audio cues. Tongue

While hanging upside down.

With 16 jumbo marshmallows in your mouth.

A few years ago G4TV ran an "ultimate videogamer" show, where contestants would compete, a la Survivor, in a weekly gaming challenge (sports/shooting/racing/adventure) type games. When they were in the final four, the contestants were playing Gran Turismo, strapped into cars themselves. Halfway through the race, their cars got flipped upside down and they had to drive that way for the rest of the event. One dude admitted that when he was little he'd get bored playing videogames so he'd get himself situated upside down and play that way. Suffice it to say, his domination the rest of the race made Secretariat's Belmont seem like a photo finish.

Slowly, but surely, the job gets done.

That was hilarious. Thank you for that.

No HUD, as requested. This one wasn't a serious challenge, but it was fun nonetheless.

No HUD is the way to go in this game once you've gotten a handle on things....

One annoying thing though, if you turn the HUD OFF for land, but all ON for BOAT-HUD, you still don't have a map... so if you want a full HUD for the boat missions (including map), and no HUD for when you're wandering around on land, you'll have to change it in the main HUD menu every time you get on or off a boat.

Ubi should fix this.

I explained why I don't think using only fists for this challenge would be fun, but as for no HUD... challenge accepted.

Here's an extra challenge: play with no HUD, and you can only use your fists.
