Assassin's Creed III - Silent Extermination - Fort Independence
A topic to discuss the journal of Haytham Kenway. There are a lot of plot holes that are filled in this book that we've questioned from our playthroughs of the main game. I'll throw some bits out there...
[spoiler]
- Haytham didn't know Achilles before AC3 (he know of him, but not personally; they never really met).
- Haytham's hidden blade was stolen from an Assassin named Miko, who is the man you kill in the theater in the beginning of the game.

Assassin's Creed III - Silent Extermination - Fort Hill
Just a reposting of the second video in my Silent Extermination series, originally added to the thread for the first video here: http://www.thehiddenblade.com/taking-forts-perfect-stealth-one-last-time.... Separate postings are better for organization, so I'll be doing all future videos this way. I'm already working on the next one.
Well, I played AC III that day, and suddenly something strange happened: I think I leaned on my controller (I'm on PS3) and pressed different combinations of buttons, and then the game was just slow-motion,
I was just thinking on a multiplayer match of PS3 players in here, to play with each other, it would be fun ( Xbox and PC i recommend to do the same) it would be AC III. If you want tell me, and add me (ssdd5432)
I was liberating one of the forts today (don't remember which one off the top of my head), and was trying to stealthily eliminate guards. There were three in an area I got rid of with no one else anywhere nearby (nor where there patrolling guards that came through the area, as I waited before pouncing to see their routes). After I assassinated the third guard, I picked him up to move him into a hiding spot, when two guards randomly spawned right in front of me, naturally spotting me and setting off the alarm.
Has this happened to anyone else, or was it just a bad luck thing for me?
ACIII is the first time I try multiplayer. It's fun but I'm not very good at it. My brain is not wired for paying attention to persons at all. When I look around all I see are buildings. I have to stare at a group of people for a long time before my neurons register the identities of the characters. It's a stimulating (and exhausting) experience.
A lot of people, me included, are dissatisfied with the linearity of ACIII. Why don't we THB:ers do something about it?
I propose that the player that completes the game (or just the story) with the least sync % wins. We would need some sort of proof, and I have a feeling this could inspire some original ideas, and possibly a few exploits .
What do you think?
When replaying the prison mission, this struck me:
As a way of thanking him, Connor promises Mason to help him once he gets out of prison (can't remember the exact phrase). Did I miss anything from that point on or did Connor just forget that promise? I don't think he helped him after he got out, am I right?
I'm from the Netherlands and therefore play AC3 in my native language, Dutch. Worked out fine with previous games, but now I've noticed some mistakes. (Note that these are found in the PC version, I don't know if Xbox and/or PlayStation versions have the same flaws.) I'll just list them here:
