To replay this Lair of Romulus, go to the DNA strand and select Sequence 2, Memory 7 ("The Halls of Nero").
There are three Borgia Flags inside each Lair. If you are looking for a specific Flag refer to this index:
Flag 84 - 2:47
Flag 85 - 5:40
Flag 86 - 8:42
Some great tips there, Stab. Thanks.
Stuff like this will be very useful when I finally get round to trying to achieve 100% Sync, as well as the Platinum
This is one of those Lairs where you get 100% Sync for completing it in under 8 minutes. It's possible to collect all three Borgia flags and get full sync on the same run. This video is almost 9 minutes long but "the clock is running" for only about 5:35. That leaves a couple of minutes to climb up to that balcony (pictured above Ezio's head at the very end of the video) and enter the shrine. You can either retrace your footsteps from flag 86 (using Catch Ledge on the first jump) or drop down and climb back up at the last place where Ezio says, "Perfect. A route up if I fall."
Let me point out a couple of key shortcuts that I took in this video. At 4:42 I forced a jump off the headless statue by tapping . The game tends to pull Ezio into jumping off the statue's left hand, leading to another slow sequence on the right wall. You end up on the floor either way so don't waste your time.
Then at 5:13 I do a sideways jump. The camera angle is weird so you want to aim the left stick at 10 o'clock. This is a high risk move because you can easily end up falling in the water and having to go back to 4:48. The reward is skipping a bunch of slow sideways walling, a back eject, and a swing from a beam that also leads to the stone at 5:20.
There may be other shortcuts that I haven't found.
Nice vid, stab. It's been quite a while since we've seen one from you, hasn't it? I think this is your first BroHood one as well. Good job and I'm looking forward to more!
Thanks, Lisa. This is my eighth Brotherhood video but who's counting? The other seven are on our maps pages. I'm going to complete this set on Borgia Flags inside Lairs of Romulus. Next up is Terme di Diocleziano which is pretty exciting with all the chasing and fighting.
